Departing Paris
When it's time to say Au revoir to the City of Lights,
you'll need to find your way to one of the two international airports,
Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly (ORY).
Public ground transport
includes Roissybus, Orlybus, Orlyval, and
RER trains.
You can pay the fare in Euros or use a 5-zone Paris Visite pass.
Private transport includes taxis, Air France coaches, and limousines.
Travel times given here assume average conditions.
If you're taking a taxi, bus, coach, or limousine, be sure to allow
extra time for unexpected traffic delays.

Departing from Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport
Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport has three terminals, named
Charles de Gaulle 1 (CDG 1), Charles de Gaulle 2 (CDG 2), and Terminal 9.
- Taxi fare from Paris to Roissy Charles de Gaulle
is 25-45€, depending on traffic conditions and the location
of your hotel. It is recommended that you reserve a taxi in advance.

- Roissybus leaves
every 15 minutes
from 05h45 to 23h daily
from the Opéra on rue Scribe,
in front of the American Express building,
stopping at CDG 1, CDG 2, and Terminal 9.
The fare is 8€, payable on board, children under 5 free.
Travel time is 45 minutes.
- RER Line B will take you to CDG
from 05h to 24h daily,
departing every 4 to 15 minutes
from the stations on line B.
There are two stops at the airport.
For CDG 1 get off at the first stop,
Aéroport Roissy Charles de Gaulle 1,
then take the Green shuttle.
For Terminal 9, use the first stop,
then take the moving walkway or the shuttle.
For CDG 2 use the second stop,
Aéroport Roissy Charles de Gaulle 2,
then take the moving walkway or the Blue shuttle.
The fare is 7.70€.
Average time from Gare du Nord is 35 minutes.

from four locations in Paris.
Line 2 coaches depart
every 10 minutes,
05h45 until 23h,
from Place Charles de Gaulle Etoile, 1 avenue Carnot,
stopping at Porte Maillot, rue Gouvion Saint Cyr.
Average trip time is 40 minutes and
the fare is 10€.
Line 4 coaches depart every 30 minutes,
07h until 21h30,
from Gare Montparnasse, rue du Commandant Mouchotte, stopping at
Gare de Lyon, boulevard Diderot.
The average trip time is 50 minutes and
the fare is 11.50€.

Departing from Orly Airport
Orly Airport has two terminals, named Orly South and Orly West.
- Taxi fare to Orly is 20-30€ depending on
traffic conditions and the location of your hotel.
It is recommended that you reserve a taxi in advance.

- OrlyBus departs Place Denfert-Rochereau
every 15-20 minutes
from 06h to 23h30.
The fare is 5.50€.
Travel time is 25 minutes.
- RER Line B and/or the métro
will take you to Antony station, where you can
catch the Orlyval to the airport.
Departures from métro and RER stations
are from 06h to 23h daily.
Orlyval departs Antony station every 4-8 minutes,
stopping first at Orly West and then Orly South.
The combined métro/RER/Orlyval fare is 8.75€.
Average trip time from Châtelet to Orly is 30 minutes.

- RER Line C goes to Orly from 05h50 to 22h50,
with trains every 15 minutes until 21h00, then every 30 minutes.
The fare is 5.25€.
From Gare d'Austerlitz the average trip time is 35 minutes.
- Air France coaches (Line 1) leave for Orly
every 15 minutes
from Aérogare des Invalides, with a stop at
Gare Montparnasse, rue du Commandant Mouchotte, from 05h45 until 23h.
The fare is 7.50€.
The average time from Invalides is 30 minutes.
